hey folks iam back! OK now you've gotten over the excitement lets cut to the chase and what a grand pursuit it is ,dredd is one of thousands of judges trying to hold back the criminal tide in mega city one a ramshackle megalopolis of mega blocks and skyscrapers, but no shiny new sci-fi here its as dystopian as it gets,dredd is assigned a rookie who has barely fallen short of her entry as a judge, but she is a mutant (psychic) and the chief judge believes this will give the justice department a lead,once paired dredd offers rookie Anderson to pick the assignment she unwittingly picks the locale where a new narcotic about to engulf the city is being manufactured, and therefore will be protected no matter what the cost,ok well i was literally blown away by this urban totally nails dredd never again will u think of Stallone this is a remarkable film it dose not comprimise at all in fact its like dredd on acid,oliva thrilby and lena headly are pitch perfect as anderson and mama respectively ,its good to see a film that has the balls to live up to its core character and them some , when Stallone said iam the law it was just a line,when urban says "IAM THE LAW" its a mission statement.
